What is SAT
In simple terms: the SAT is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. The College Board is the administrator for conducting SAT examinations. The SAT is typically taken by high school juniors and seniors. The SAT brings the course work, grades, and class rank to one common national perspective and helps colleges sort and select students for admission.
SAT Structure consists of 3 sections as outlined below.
Each of the three sections is measured on a scale of 200-800. All scores are multiples of 10. The total of all three scores makes up your SAT score.

For all multiple chose questions in Writing, Math, or Critical Thinking sections, 1 point is added for each correct answer and ¼ point is deducted for an incorrect answer. Our recommendation is to make only calculated guesses. If you are not sure of the given choices, do not answer the question. Only when you can eliminate one or more choices, guess at the answer to the question.

TargetSAT - A Unique Audio-Visual Approach to SAT Mathematics Learning
In order to assist students preparing for the Mathematics Section of the SAT test, our Audio-Visual training has been designed to increase your learning ability in sharp contrast to traditional classroom or tutoring models.
Why Audio-Visual Learning?
There is a rationale behind the new audio-visual technique that we offer. By simultaneously seeing a problem being solved, along with the audio-visual support, you retain the information better. We use two of our most versatile sensory organs simultaneously. The areas of the brain where visual and auditory inputs are stored are different. Thus we are using both sensory organs simultaneously and the link between auditory leaning and visual learning is established. This link between what we see and what we hear ensures more reliable learning and recall. Just as students and scholars alike enjoy games that offer both audio and visual aspects, our training utilizes these similarly - but in an educational environment.
Classroom Approach Disadvantages:
Classroom preparation is also effective but has shown marked disadvantages in long-duration training sessions. Attention spans often decline after 30 minutes, and concepts may appear boring and ineffective as students start to lose interest in the subject. When comprehension is not achieved, the value of the classroom training is completely lost. Imagine if you do not understand the concept being addressed, how many times can you request the trainer/tutor repeat the subject matter? Compared to TargetSAT, tutors and classroom training is much more costly and structured.
TargetSAT Approach:
We have scientifically-designed and developed our online course using
an audio-visual approach to the lessons. This gives students all the benefits
of a classroom. . . . . All the examples and exercise problems are completely
explained and solved via audio-visual methodology.
What Students Can Do:
Students control not only the timing and flow of preparation but also the rate at which they want to prepare. Additionally, students can replay the online audio-visual as many times as necessary until they are completely familiar with the concepts and have memorized them. Students have complete control over the time spent, the number of times they take the tests, work the problems, utilize the audio-visual solutions.

The 70 minute marathon requires both skill and stamina to emerge as a winner. The questions are multiple-choice with 5 options. There has been a paradigm shift in recent years in the type of questions being asked. The latest trend is towards questions that test the basic understanding of core concepts. Also, comprehensive coverage of all topics relevant to the Math Sections is a must as questions are uniformly distributed across all topics.

"How does TargetSAT know so much about the inner working of SAT Math testing concepts? In all my days of school, no math teacher was able to generate the type of interest that I have found at TargetSAT. I still don't like math class - but I am changing my perception of its importance. You presentation and explanations make all the difference. You methods are clear, straight forward, and extremely helpful. I wish I knew about TargetSAT before I took my first SAT test - but I am happy to have found you now!"
