In simple terms: the SAT is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. The College Board is the administrator for conducting SAT examinations. For all multiple chose questions in Writing, Math, or Critical Thinking sections, 1 point is added for each correct answer and ¼ point is deducted for an incorrect answer. Our recommendation is to make only calculated guesses. If you are not sure of the given choices, do not answer the question. Only when you can eliminate one or more choices, guess at the answer to the question.
